"If you think the cost of training is expensive, check out the price of ignorance"

Comprehensive notes for facilitators are provided to customers. These have been developed by customers for customers - there is an active information exchange helping people get maximum value from this learning and development tool.

Help is available to tailor use of the game to your needs - for example, using the game as part of a larger event with facilitation and follow-up activities. Please contact us to discuss your requirements or to find out more.

Typically the game will be used at workshops / seminars / conferences / team meetings / awaydays / Learning and Development events. It will help people work together to explore the opportunities and challenges presented by the government’s Transforming Social Care agenda and jointly find a way forward to deliver personalised services, offering real choice and control to service users.

It can be used  anywhere where people need to engage with Putting People First and are asking the question “How have we got to change in order to deliver this agenda?”

Whose Shoes? is increasingly being used with social work students. We we are working with various organisations, particularly joint research with Manchester Metropolitan University, to develop further support to ensure that university / HE / PQ programmes of study can make best use of this learning and development tool.
